Poll: What should be Andrew Bynum's OFFICIAL nickname?

Thanks to the hundreds of true Los Angeles Lakers fans that racked their brains to come up with clever and creative nicknames for the surging Andrew Bynum.

I had many fans tell me that Andrew Bynum already has a nickname. One said he is commonly referred to as "A-Bomb" while another fan asserted that he has only one true nickname: "Drew." Still others told me that Bynum's nickname in high school was "A-Train."

I also found out that the Lakers have an internal nickname for him, "Socks," due to the fact that he allegedly showered in his socks after practice one day because his teammates stole his shower sandals.

Although I'm sure that these names all exist, it just proves my point that we need to come together and give Andrew Bynum one solid nickname that will go national. We can't have a future All-Star center with more than one nickname, right?

So, without further ado, here are the top five, in no particular order, that you can vote on to determine Andrew Bynum's OFFICIAL nickname:

• Andrew "Bynumite" Bynum
• Andrew "Mountain Drew" Bynum
• Andrew "The Brute" Bynum
• Andrew "A-Bomb" Bynum
• Andrew "The Bynusaur" Bynum

Most of these were submitted by multiple people, and they were also pretty clever. Definite honorable mention goes to MANdrew, Fat Albert, Bus Stop, Big Bang, Big Sky, Bynum the Barbarian, The Blockness Monster, and of course, The Rainmaker.

Vote cautiously and carefully, for Andrew Bynum's fate rests in your hands. And if he keeps playing this way, the NBA Championship trophy might soon rest in his.
