According to the L.A. Times, Los Angeles Lakers center Pau Gasol may have a tear in his injured right hamstring.

He underwent a sonogram yesterday that revealed the possible tear, and had an MRI late Monday that will hopefully determine the extent of his injury. The results of the MRI are expected today.

Gasol missed the last six preseason games and has yet to play a regular season game. He is not expected to play in the Lakers next two games and, depending on the results of the MRI, could miss even more time.
