Kobe set to unveil new sneakers

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant will host a global webcast and live event Thursday to introduce his new sneaker, the Zoom Kobe 4.
During the webcast, fans will be able to chat with Kobe about the design innovation of the "new and unconventional shoe."
Not sure how "unconventional" it could possibly be, but I can't wait to find out. Maybe it's a workboot he's designed to help get the Lakers out of the mess that they're in? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
The live event will take place at Westchester high school at 1 p.m., and the webcast will be available at www.nikemedia.com.
One thing's for sure, the ads for the shoe have a long way to go to live up to this one:
