Vujacic and Gasol ready to rock

If the Lakers find themselves struggling against the Bulls Tuesday night, they can always play some of Sasha Vujacic and Pau Gasol's favorite tunes for intimidation.

The Lakers duo will bring an international flavor to 100.3 FM KSWD as guest DJ's on Dec. 21. Those tuning in will hear some of Vujacic and Gasol's favorite songs, including these hardcore, menacing anthems:

Gasol (aka DJ Spanish Fly):

  1.  "Losing My Religion" -- REM (the song that was playing when Brenda and Dylan had their first breakup on Beverly Hills, 90210)
  2. "One" -- U2 (played at countless weddings across the nation every weekend)
  3. "Somewhere Only We Know" -- Keane (the McDreamy theme song on Grey's Anatomy)

Vujacic (aka DJ Machine):

  1. "Good Things" -- The Bodeans (used during Joe Kane's drying-out montage in The Program)
  2. "City of Angels" -- Red Hot Chili Peppers (poor Sasha, presumably this was an attempt to appeal to the Los Angeles fans, but the song is actually called "Under the Bridge," a Chili Peppers classic)
  3. "You're Beautiful" -- James Blunt (used too many times to mention, but most notably was covered by the Colossus of Clarinet himself, Kenny G)

As you can see, the two Lakers show that their musical tastes are anything but intimidating. It's probably a good thing for Sasha, since I don't think he would fare too well in a mosh pit after seeing him get knocked to the ground by Trevor Ariza's celebratory chest bump:
