Another unique point is the subsidiary seconds dial. Instead of being a full dial, it is sectioned off into a 2/3 size dial with a star hand with three different length hands that indicate the proper seconds on one of the three dial strips. You also have a date dial on the watch face. All the hands are beautifully blued. Although the case is not exactly around, the dial of the watch essentially is, making the watch easy to read. You'll appreciate the round minute ring that bisects the Roman numeral hours. The Daniel Roth Athys Moon 2134 watch is available in 18k red and white gold. The strap is alligator and matches the intriguing classic nature of the watch nicely.
