Breitling releases this limited edition watch in celebration of its 125th anniversary. Half-way between the original three-hand Superocean Heritage watch and the Superocean Heritage Chronograph, this is the Superocean Heritage Chronograph Limited Edition. Unlike the standard chronograph model with a Valjoux 7750 12 hour chronograph movement, the limited edition has a base ETA 7753 movement with a bi-compax 30 minute chronograph automatic movement. The limited edition will come in three dial colors and only in the 46mm wide size. A black, silver, and the pictured blue dial will be offered in just 1000 pieces each. I like how the watch has the character of the basic three-hand model with the date placed in the same position bus also has a chronograph complication - and is still very easy to read. The movement is also a certified Chronometer. With 200 meters of water resistance it is a hard timepiece, with the beautiful minimalist rotating diver's bezel that the Superocean Heritage line is known for. The watches are available with a rubber strap of the pictured retro style mesh metal bracelet.
You'll appreciate the simple good looks of the Breitling Superocean Heritage line in contrast to some of their more busy looking watches. This watch is certainly for the guy who wants the Breitling name without the Breitling boredom (it can occur). Finally, the classic looking Breitling "B" located at 12 o'clock is applied gold on this limited edition anniversary watch.
