Magrette Taniwha watch

Upping their game when it comes to beautiful hand engraved watch cases, New Zealand based Magrette watches introduces their most recent, and most beautiful timepiece. This is the Taniwha, and its major eye catching quality is the fully hand decorated 44mm wide steel watch case. The Regattare style case is now ornately applied with images from the  mythical Taniwha beasts of the original New Zealand natives. This further separates Magrette from other watch makers who simply decorate their cases. Magrette's style is to enhance the look of the stylistic decor on the watch with character-rich faces that further invite you to inspect the details. First for Magrette is the application of inlaid gold on the case that further tempers the look torward luxury.

The dial and caseback are covered with sapphire crystals and inside the watch is a Swiss automatic ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. An attractive timepiece, the availability is extremely limited. The Magrette Taniwha watch is limited to just 5 pieces with a price of $5,985 available directly from Magrette.
