Kings hosted a 'meet and greet' for Omri Casspi

Monday, August 17th, the Sacramento Kings hosted an event welcoming Omri Casspi to the NBA and to Sacramento. But that wasn't the only reason for this event held at the Kings' practice facility.
A deeper joy was also celebrated at this event. Members of the Jewish community were celebrating the first NBA player from Israel.Omri has become a hero to many of the Jewish nation for this historic accomplishment. The Kings organization as a whole are proud of this accomplishment too.
