Bita Neyestani is a 25 year old recent graduate from Pepperdine's School of Public Policy. She has served as a deputy intern for the City of Calabasas from 2007-2009. In addition she has researched for the non-profit and multi-partisian organization, Common Sense California. Her interests include promoting citizen engagement and democracy, as well as international relations specifically pertaining to the Middle East.
