The loss of Americans, or unnessarily any human life, grieves me greatly.
Today, on our national day of grieving, the focus is on the 3000~ ..... .... ... .. . .
However, in our public memorial, I feel we are in serious error not to include the 4000 ~ American Service Members, and at least honorable mention of the 100,000~ innocents, the 10's of 1000's and 1000's of maimed and mentally wounded, and a respectful nod to the 2 million ~ displaced/orphaned.
This old tree hugger would also like a moment of silence for the environment, here, and there, along with the wildlife affected.

The war in Iraq was not connected to 9II, as facts have now clearly shown. The unnecessary death toll due to 9II needs to stand for correction.
We, as honest, responsible, and compassionate people, need to be reading a lot more names on September 11.
You know ... every one knows LOL ... I did not believe that GW was properly elected by the majority, and still long for a proper recount, for history's sake. Also, I greatly disagreed with most of his policies, and especially his administration's actions, under the tudorship of his V.P., and major cabinet members.
On 9II though, I too was moved to tears, and resolved to support the president I found myself with, and committed myself to stand together, with all 'the parties' for an 'indivisible' ... and totally 'united' States of America.
As a citizen, I could do no less.
