'You've gotta' have a dream, if you don't have a dream ... how you goin' to have a dream come true?' All my life that saying has affected me.
Barack Obama I think is about change ... heading in a direction of the principles we, as Americans, say we all believe in.
No one should die in America because they can't get medical help, or mental, or even legal!
No one should ever die in a foreign sovereign nation, unless that nation has, as a people, declared war on our own homeland ... period.
The 'terrorists' know no nation ... how can we justify, as a civilized people, invading and literally holding a whole country hostage to our way of thinking? What if someone did that to us, let's say because the Oklahoma bomber came from the U. S. , or because he had friends here?
No one should die because they can't find a job ... something constructive they can do to support themselves and their families.
No one should die because of hate ... never because of hate.
Not believing in our form of government actually means we do not believe in the United States of America. Hating the government is really hating ourselves.
It is our duty as citizens to speak our minds with constructive criticism for sure, but it is also our duty to come up with, and present, common sense solutions.

'I know many don’t think things are changing fast enough. The President shares your urgency. This month, speaking at the HRC National Dinner, he said "while progress may be taking longer than you’d like as a result of all that we face... do not doubt the direction we are heading and the destination we will reach."
