As I mentioned before, President Obama is just one man, with a wife, and two daughters.  I truly do feel his heart is wanting America to be all it can be, for his daughters, and theirs, and for all the American People.

Our presidents speech, at Edward Brooke's honor ceremony really got to the point of why we should do everything we can to work together.

We all want healthy and happy children ... agree?  We all want our parents to enjoy their final years?

We all want wars to end?

We all want peace?

We all want healthy and productive neighbors, right?

We want clean water?  .... clean air? ... clean and available parks?

We want a future for our decendants and this planet?

You see where I am going.  The very great majority of people in any country, or religion, want to enjoy 'the pursuit of happiness' with a rewarding job, and good health.  They love their children.  They love their parents.

We do seem to be on the same page, and in the same boat.  Apparently a lot of people just don't know it, or won't admit it.

I wonder why not?

We are the government in America.  If it doesn't seem that way, it is only because average Joe and Sally have not stepped up to the plate.   We can volunteer at the local level,  We can run for office.  We can stand on a soapbox.  We can voice our opinions, and now with the Internet, we can be heard all over the world.

Bottom line it is up to us to make things better for all American Citizens, and to work toward a better planet ... a world our children and theirs can be glad they were born into.
