Win ... Win ... why not?

What about an almost immediate solution to unemployment figures, and out of range, runaway costs, to say nothing of the nation's spirit at a relatively low cost?

Direct stimulus dollars at the base of the pyramidic financial structure that seems to represent today's American financial direction.

The pyramid we see now is upside down and tottering badly!!! This must be reversed to ensure our stability. The mass of money bubbling at the top, with a few drops trickling down on the bottom, just doesn't work.

Help is needed, with real commitment to the masses of workers, inventors, and young people, who get up everyday vowing to be the best that they can be, with what they have at hand. People, American Citizens, that love their families, their neighborhood, their country, and want to improve it for all.

The results from stimulus grants for good ideas ...  for educational programs at all levels, that will train for real jobs available close to home ...  jobs helpful to the clean up the environment, for health, and security issues we all face ... individually and nationally would be so uplifting to our collective spirit.

Reward community activities, with funding and equipment for health and exercise ... bike lanes and paths, pools and tracks, health clinics in the park, or on Sunday parking lots ... so many ideas. (see: http://http://freeclinics.us/index.php ) The rewards to our people, and the increase of the literal, and moral, strength of our country would be massive!!!

Let's as a nation give them, whom are willing to put their energy to the tasks of real improvement for all, a real hand ... let's be driven by common sense.

The problem with our economy that I see now is that the dang pyramid, like I said, is upside down in regards to resources/wealth. Massive amounts of wealth all at the top, much of it offshore, totally separated from the bottom 95+%! ... there is no place to go but down, to fall over and shatter the masses corralled in the bottom point

Bring Mom and Pop's back to the neighborhoods! Bring the 'victory garden' idea into modern times. Let's work in our communities, and for our communities, and the taxes we pay as American's to come back to our communities for health, education, and the public safety and welfare.

Not enough jobs yet? Until people can get 'regular' jobs .... what about a plan to help folks make money at home? ... real home business's ... above the table, and proud?

Invest stimulus money on information on how to do it effectively, with small starter grants, for ideas that basically can be done without any start up cash! Have seeds will sell tomatoes!  Have old fabric, can make beautiful quilts! Have scrap wood, can make bird houses! Have computer can write, program, or do customer service. Invest in inspiration!

Under a federal government 'back to work' plan, detailed business tax requirements, public safety, and reporting help, could be given out ... real common sense suggestions that don't require the services of a 2 lawyer firm!!!!

Help out moms. Reduce 'legal drug' use. Help them stay with their children and grandchildren and also to contribute to family, neighborhood, and society.

What about under the same 'act' that allows American's the right to make so many bottles of wine or beer for their own purposes? Not sure about state restrictions, but what about a national effort like the WWII Victory Gardens of my grandmothers time, but taken forward to include modern opportunities of effective home labor with the technologies available today?

Why not have no costs, for start up help, under a certain survival level of income?,... and the family can spend the money on their own purposes ... rent, mortgage, good food! Result? Stimulus that is turned around and spent back into the economy. Good for everybody.

Being able to make and sell things homemade or homegrown, or services rendered by computer, could save the house or apt., put decent food on the table, keep the utilities on, keep the car going, and buy gas to classes ... to be ready again the next time the 'good job market' rolls around! Those still raising children could continue to do so.

With the added issue of the baby boom retirees ... let the able take care of themselves and keep off the roads! Why not ... 'life time' exemptions from taxes and fees, for real old folks who just like to stay home and make things ... things they could be selling out in their immediate neighborhoods, or on a buy/sell list to supplement their social security. Think of how much self esteem could be generated with just a little support, knowledge, and encouragement!

Could be a whole movement to get back to the proverbial farm .... farmers spend what they make too. Good for our economy! And artists, I heard, never could hold on to a dime! LOL

If really small entrepreneurs were helped and shown the way ... whole communities could be revitalized, really starting at the grass level. The potential to get past just surviving, and actually save up for the lean times could be an incredible boom. Five dollars, plus five dollars, plus ten, mean buying the fixings for a decent dinner, or paying for gas for a trip to the lake.

What a economy booster it could be ... focusing on the masses that are the base of our economic pyramid!

Maybe the activity could be 'grand-fathered' in .... as mentioned, the rights to make and sell certain amounts of home-made, or produced labors. The neighbors, and buyers, determining success or failure ... they will either buy or not. Things that don't sell won't be made. If it is blackberry jam, a new web site, birdhouses, rockers, or pumpkins, tax reporting, a crocheted lap blanket, or a raincoat for the dog ... customers would determine value and safety. If they buy or trade for anything ... they then accept responsibility of owning. No more threat of lawsuits at every move ... instilling fear and reducing creativity.

In our semi rural area ... folks seem to be allowed to put out their fruits and veggies for sale, but most don't cause they figure they must be breaking some law ... there are so many, and of course no more 'pick your own' ... too scared some parent won't be watching, and their kid will fall out of a tree, and it will be the tree owners fault..

This self sufficiency idea could be expanded on by making sure rules and regulations are not binding for the folks who are starting their business's with basically zero investment. Any money invested in getting people to do the work they love, and be able to survive financially, and contribute to both their communities and their country, will come back surely to bless the whole nation with a proud, healthy, and happy populace.

It could turn into a great stimulus for families in general ... working together .... creating ideas together, and solving real problems that affect them personally ... like not worrying if they can afford celery for the night's chicken soup!

Please consider the possibilities. Take the fear away!
