A couple of events that should be on your radar:

World Peace Diet presentation and free vegetarian meal
When: Tomorrow, May 23rd, from 2pm - 4pm
Where: Greenbelt Library, 11 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770 (Orange Line to New Carrollton, then take the R12 to South Way & Cresent, and a short walk to the library)

Dr. Will Tuttle has teamed up with DC-based nonprofit Compassion Over Killing to give a presentation on World Peace Diet, a book where he explains all the benefits of veganism and how it can improve our planet.  This isn't restaurant related, but there will be free food, so go.  I know I am.

DC Vegan Drinks
When: Thursday, May 28th, from 7pm
Where: Bread & Brew, 1247 20th St, NW, Washington DC 20036 (Red Line to Dupont Circle)

DC Vegan Drinks is a monthly happy hour networking event for vegans, vegetarians, and the vegetarian friendly. This month's is at Bread & Brew, local "green" eatery with a downstairs bar.  I've known about Vegan Drinks for a few months now but this is the first one I'll be attending. Keep an eye out for me.
