Most people have seen models in magazines and wondered how they look so great. Here are a few things you can do to improve the result of a photo shoot without air brushing.

Step 1:
Exercise always helps the end result of photos. If you are strength training, don't focus on lifting heavy. Instead, just do full body circuits or split the days between upper body and lower body workouts. Cardio is key for getting ready for a photoshoot. Aim for doing an hour a day on an empty stomach in the morning for maximum fat burning. Also, get plenty of rest! If you want to prevent dark circles, you need your beauty sleep.

Step 2:
Tweak your diet. One week before the shoot, cut out salt, sugar, alcohol and drink plenty of water. The day before your shoot drink very little water and the day of the shoot don't drink any water until afterwards. This will prevent bloating and also soak up an excess water weight. Eating clean food is not only a good idea before a shoot, but as a lifestyle. Your overall appearance will be healthier and it will show in your hair, skin and body. Don't try to starve yourself for the shoot. You will keep your metabolism burning by eating 5-6 small meals a day. Clean food is lean protein, vegetables and complex carbohydrates.

Step 3:
Take care of your skin. Make sure you are not only washing, exfoliating and moisturizing your entire body, but also taking vitamins! Vitamins can improve your skin, nails and hair. Nails should be done for the photoshoot if they will be in the photos as well as hair and makeup. Getting a spray tan also helps give you a healthy glow for most people.

Step 4:
Be comfortable with yourself. A picture is worth a thousand words. If you are uncomfortable at your shoot, it will show in the pictures. If you have taken these steps before the shoot, you have done all the preparation. Now it's time to enjoy the moment and feel good about it!
