Two local restaurants are stepping up to bat on Sunday and Monday to bring Portland/Vancouver residents new dining experiences this week!  Both of these fine dining restaurants will treat you to a gourmet multi-course dinner with well-crafted dinners and a well-honed wine list.  The contemporary feel of both restaurants is inviting, chic and new.  Take a tour through their menus with multiple visits to discover delicious new culinary delights.

Sunday, September 27th

Lapellah (2520 Columbia House Blvd., Suite 108, Vancouver) is located in the Grand Central mall just across the I-5 bridge.  The addition of Sunday dinners continues September 27th with a $25 3-course dinner with an entree of Washington-raised Draper Valley Fried Chicken will begin serving at 4pm.  Head Chef David Mork often crafts his creations from very local ingredients, shopping with local farms and farmers to obtain the best of the Northwest.  The outside patio will be comfortable and shaded, and the 80 degree day needs to be enjoyed here in the area before Fall weather sets in tomorrow!

Monday, September 28th

Tabla Mediterranean Bistro (200 NE 28th Ave., Portland) will be open Monday evenings starting September 28th.  Michael Garofola, General Manager/Sommelier credits increasing business for the new day of activity, which is one more positive sign for the future.  His menu of focused, local and changing modern specialties starts every evening at 5pm.  Michael is always glad to visit your table to help you select one of his hand-picked wines to pair perfectly with your selections, and will often have interesting stories about the wines and winemakers to go along with your evening.
