Reservations are now being accepted for an upcoming Italian Wines event in Portland.  Salut! Wine Outlet will be working with Vinifera Imports and three local Italian restaurants for an event featuring 12 wines, 3 restaurants and 1 great cause...The March of Dimes.  Set the evening aside on Thursday, October 15th from 6:30 to 9:30pm for this grand presentation.

20% of all ticket and wine sales will be donated to the local chapter of the March of Dimes, the leading non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of babies.

The event takes place at the state-of-the-art presentation facility at NW Portland's Bargreen Ellingson, where 60 guests will be treated to three separate flights of four wines each.  Each flight will be paired with a dish from one of the featured restaurants which include Nostrana, Basta's and Piazza Italia.

Wines to be featured include a flight of "Italy's Big B's" with Oddero Barolo, Pertinace Barbaresco and Friggiali Brunello di Montalcino plus Braida's reserve Monte Bruna Barbera.  A flight of 4 Tuscan wines will include Felsina's Chianti Classico Reserva, Icario's Vino Nobile plus Rosso di Montalcino and Chianti Classico.  A flight of unique Italian white wines will also be presented, including A Casa's Greco di Tufo, Icardi's Cortese, A Sauvignon Blanc and a blended northern Italian white. 

Tickets for this event are available online at www.salutwine.com for $70/person.  Tickets are also available at the door for $80, provided the event is not yet sold out.
