It seems as though everyone is in it for the money these days... no matter who it hurts.

A stripper named Nicole Forrester, 34, has accused singer Fergie's husband, Josh Duhamel, 37, of having a one night stand with her. What the media left out in the first reports was that The National Enquirer paid Forrester $20,000 for the story (though she hasn't taken a dime of it ... yet).

The Atlanta based stripper told the media that she and Duhamel "had lots of sex" while he was in town filming a movie. Us Weekly reports that Forrester has passed a lie-detector test and has saved some text messages from Duhamel that prove her allegations.

After the reports were made public, Duhamel flew to NYC to be with his wife (the duo were married last January). This sounds a little like a guy who is feeling guilty. Even if Duhamel is innocent here, one can only imagine how detrimental a story like this can be to one's marriage. A sign of infidelity can take years to overcome. Trust issues are a great divorce story.

Another interesting piece to this puzzle is that Forrester has two children, 10 and 13 years old, and didn't want them to find out about this story. HELLO? You work in an all nude strip club. Get over yourself.
