During these warm summer days,  it's a great time for a family trip. Sometimes you may not be able to bring Fido with you, and some boarding facilities don't seem as clean or as safe as you may like.

The true Ritz Carlton of pet accommodations is D Pet Hotels, located on Highland and Santa Monica in Hollywood. Check out their website: http://www.dpethotels.com/ You'll see that this pet hotel may actually be nicer than the one for your family trip!

Entering the facility, you're immediately greeted by a smiling face and a immaculate entrance. Dogs have play areas based upon their size, with glass all around to create an open environment. They've got treadmills for dogs who crave a bit more exercise, and offer all types of specialized care for your precious family member. For those of us who are a little extra cautious about our pet's diet, I was very impressed to find that they will feed your dog whenever and whatever you want them to have - chicken, rice, dry dog food, wet dog food, etc - just name it and they will make accommodations for your pet's highest level of care.

Having taken my pet to other boarding facilities with a less than excellent experience, I was really comforted by how happy my pet seemed and eager to play and interact with others. Vaccinations are checked thoroughly so you know your pet will be amongst other pampered pooches.

Bedroom suites are available with televisions, beds, and theme rooms. The roomier suites are great for multiple pets who like to stay together.

Check this place out on your next trip out of town! Your pet will be treated like the royalty they are.
