If next week looks a little jam-packed for you, but you still want to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, there are local venues that will accomodate your desire to start the Cinco de Mayo party this wekeend--and let you do so for free.

Head over the Rockville Town Square tomorrow (May 2) where the fun starts at noon and lasts until 9 pm.There will be samples from Noodles and Company and Aveda, plus a Zumba demo and giveaways from Gold's Gym. For the kids there will be a moonbouce and ballon animals. The musical lineup includes Stokely Rose, Keegan Corbey, and The Regan Years.

On Sunday, you can go to the National Mall (May 3) for the 17th Annual National Cinco de Mayo Festival, which is on rain or shine from noon  until 6 pm at the Sylvan Theater. There will be food, live music, freebies and performers including the the Maru Montero Dance Company.

Although Cinco de Mayo is Mexican in origin, national festival organizers like to say that 'On Cinco de Mayo, everybody's Latino.'
