The creeps in Congress passed Pelosi’s outrageous bill to socialize America’s medical industry. Not as if it were completely free in the first place. We’ve had a partially socialized medical industry since the creation of those wonderfully bankrupt (and unconstitutional) welfare programs: Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.

Here I’ve highlighted some of the more fascist aspects of the current bill the House passed Saturday night:

*First of all, our national tic (thug-in-chief) lied to us when he said we needed to pass this bill immediately. If that were really the case, the law wouldn’t wait to go into effect on Jan. 1st, 2013 (conveniently right when the tic leaves public office). The tic lied a second time when he said he wouldn’t support a bill that adds one dollar to our national debt. Try $1.2 million in cost over the next decade! Socialists believe we can just tax the evil rich to pay for it. That’s not going to happen (see below). (Oh, tics and creeps always underestimate the cost of their precious socialist programs. You can make a sure bet that the real cost will be in the tens of trillions. Here’s to hope, change and a worthless dollar.)

*Sec. 59b (pgs. 297-299) (otherwise known as the “Show me your papers!” section) says that when you file your taxes, you must include proof you are in a qualified plan. If not, you will be fined thousands of dollars. Everyone must buy health insurance. If not, you pay a “tax.” They call it a tax instead of a fine for two reasons: 1) they’re liars. 2) if they called it a fine, they would have to go through the due process clause of the fifth amendment. (Luckily for America, the most fascist aspect of the bill may be its undoing in the Supreme Court.) If you refuse to pay, these thugs will force you, through violence, to do so.

*Sec.412 (p. 272) says that employers must provide a “qualified plan” for their employees and “pay” 72.5% of the cost, and a smaller share of family coverage, or incur an 8% payroll tax.
Socialists hell-bent on eating the rich through theft—that is, taxes—consistently ignore economic behavior when they support such plans. They honestly believe that those evil, rich employers are going to stop buying Porsches or living unnecessarily in large homes.

Considering employers have absolutely no incentive to pay such confiscatory taxes out of their own pockets, here’s a dose of economic reality: Employers will pass the cost of the tax onto the prices of their goods and services (which means they don’t pay for it; consumers do). If that’s not enough to balance the cost of the tax, then they’ll fire some workers and/or reduce the wages of all workers. And employers will still be driving their Porsches—good for them. (But don’t expect “leaders” who disparage the science of sound economics to admit these points anytime soon.)

*The healthcare legislation excludes Congress from the plan they are imposing upon everyone else. Of course it does. Why would we expect hypocrites like the tic to participate in a (soon-to-be) Post Office-efficient medical system any more than we expect them to enroll their kids in government-run schools?

Lies, false science, violence, theft and hypocrisy. If that’s not fascism, I don’t know what is.
