There's nothing definitive on the Stanford women's basketball recruiting front, just some updates:

Alexyz Vaioletama, who will be a junior at Mater Dei High School next season and is ranked the 19th best recruit in the class of 2011 by espn.com, had narrowed her choices to North Carolina and Stanford, according to a report by ESPN HoopGurlz.  Gaining admission to Stanford is always an issue with every recruit, however.  A 6-1 forward, Vaioletama is sometimes overshadowed by the wealth of talent at MaterDei.

Shoni Schimmel of Hermiston, Oregon, the No. 10-rated recruit in the class of 2010, still lists Stanford as the only school she is considering.   Schimmel is a slick ballhandling point guard..
