There is a lot of controversy over the video of a little boy, who is loopy post dental surgery, that has been posted on YouTube. His parents never knew the video would get this many views. The video was originally taken by his father's cell phone camera, on their way home, to update his mother on his condition.
The controversy is this- Is this video glamorizing the effects of drugs on children? Over 16 million people have watched David's video, and laughed as he rambled on about an out-of-body feeling from the drugs used during his tooth removal. Is it funny, over the line, or disturbing?
As for David's reaction to all of this publicity (he and his parents just interviewed with Matt Lauer on Today ), he says he feels "like a rock star". His parents stand behind their video, explaining they were just documenting the experience of their son's surgery.
