Record producer Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins and wife Joy Enriquez welcomed a daughter this past November 17th named Heavenly Joy, according to People.com.

Obviously considered a blessing in their lives, daughter Heavenly's first name means "of or in the heavens; beautiful; blissful," according to dictionary.com. Her middle name Joy has Latin origins and is a word name meaning "happiness," according to babynames.com.

'Darkchild' is a Grammy Award-winning songwriter, record producer and musician who has worked with artists ranging from Michael Jackson, Beyoncé and the Pussycat Dolls to Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige and Lady Gaga, according to Wikipedia.org.

Despite his success and creativity in the world of music, coming up with their daughter's name was easy. Upon finding out that his wife was pregnant with their eldest son Rodney Jr., his wife Joy said "This is heavenly," and thus the moniker was born.
