WeHo Real Estate agent Ronald Shore had it when code compliance officers confiscated his illegally posted open house signs, so he decided to challenge the law.

West Hollywood made more stringent its real estate signage law during the building boom of 2004, restricting placement, size and content.

Real estate agents felt then that keeping signs off public areas near corners, sidewalks and preventing naming the listing agent, firm or phone number would hamper their ability to make sales – and then the economy tanked.... [full story]
