Stoneybrook East has long been one of my favorite course in the greater Orlando area. Always fair priced, in good playing condition, and a fair challenge Stoneybrook had always been a place I enjoyed playing. If you could keep the ball in play, and in places this is quite a challenge the opportunity to post a good score was easily attainable.
However, the last few times I have been there the experience has not been nearly as positive. Last weekend my friend and I did not receive our golf cart until two minutes before we teed off, and even that was twenty minutes after our scheduled tee time. The cart we did receive was dilapidated, and without GPS. Not to mention once we did get onto the course the round lasted in the neighborhood of five hours! In addition, the cart girl made only two appearances during our five hour round which is way too few in my book.
I hope that Stoneybrook can get these issues resolved and once again become one of my favorite courses to play in the Greater Orlando area, because as of right now they are headed in the wrong direction.
