Sesame Street celebrates it's 40th birthday on November 10th, 2009. A new video shows that Cookie Monster may have actually discovered Google 27 years ago. Okay so Cookie Monster did not really discover Google, but he did sing about it long ago. Al Gore didn't actually create the internet either.
Google has made Cookie Monster their Google Doodle for today. Watch the Cookie Monster video below where he sings about Goggle. Yes, the song is actually about his googley eyes.
Sesame Street characters may not be the traditional celebrities we normally discuss here, however, they are celebrities recognized around the world. Many well known celebrities have all made guest appearances on Sesame Street. Jason Mraz, Adam Sandler, Jimmy Fallon, Kobe Bryant, and Sarah Jessica Parker have all appeared on the beloved kids show. Michelle Obama will appear on the 40th anniversary episode next week. You can catch a sneak peek of our First Lady on Sesame Street below.
Chris Brown made an appearance on Sesame Street a couple years ago, see video below. We find it highly unlikely that he will be invited back anytime soon. He may not be considered the role model that he once was.
If you have ever watched the Today show when Elmo makes an appearance, you will know he seems to have a crush on the beautiful Ann Curry.
