Everyone that writes for a magazine, news paper, and an on line news site, has one thing in. That is they like to write. A writers purpose is to inform there audience with not only facts but opinion. It's a job, kind of like how others work anywhere between Lawyers and fast food employees. We like to know what you have to say. If we missed a period somewhere it's nice to let us know but in a matter that does not come off as insulting. You would't want someone to come into where your worked and say "Hey! Hey you, yeah you missed this SO FIX IT,"

Sadly after reading comments left on other examiner's pages, everything kind of sounds like that. There are the few that just say "Hey, you missed that there." That is constructive criticism that does not make you look like a jerk. I am sure most people who want something done right find a better result when they say something nicely and in a calmer tone. On the Internet you can not really understand the tone that a writer is going for unless they tell you. For instance, right now I am just calmly writing and wondering why people do these things. However, someone else could look at what I have written and get a completely different tone out of it. I bring this up because there are the few that leave comments that are not that bad if they are taken the right way.

This is my opinion on the people that write horrible things about others writing, especially online. If you can look a a page and know everything that is wrong with someones writing, you are either A) Really smart to start out with or B) A writer/editor yourself. It would not surprise me to see another writer from the same site post something offensive and/or just being a complete jerk. If you have the time to read every detail of a writers article then wow, you like to read. However, and then you go on to write them a paragraph about how bad it sucked just in the spite of knowing you could do better? That just makes no sense to me. This site and others like it are created to help a writer find there thing or niche. If you find that you have to sit there and write something that is rude you have more issues then playboy. Old cliche, but point made anyway.

To my fellow writers, keep writing. Even if you get comments like "Dude, did you even proof read this yourself once," <---- real comment.

I am sure I am going to get horrible comments for this one and honestly the lulz will be tremendous. I write about the Internet and this issue is one of the biggest problems it has. We won't be able to stop it or even understand most of it, but we can get a good laugh from the funny ones.

Thanks for reading my not really Internet related article. =D
