The Disneyland Railroad could be an attraction all by itself. An opportunity for guests to ride all around the park. You could be going to your next destination or taking a load off your feet in the middle of the day. Either way, the kids won't be disappointed!

There are four stops along the Disneyland Train route with the initial stop being at Maingate. Each have folks coming and going, yet the best part is what is between these parts!

Here's some of the highlights of this one-of-a-kind train ride:

Enjoy the views of the backside of Splash Mountain. This Laughing Place gives the train riders a chance to sing along with the song and take a peak at those who are preparing for a drop and splash!

Check out the animal shaped trees of Disneyland when you catch the stop just across from It's a Small World. Just as you pull away, a view of some of Disneyland's inner workings are in sight. And if you are lucky, you will get the chance to see floats preparing for the parades.

Everyone who has ridden the train knows about the Dinosaurs. Riders are taken back in time to view the land before human time. It's a place where dinosaurs are in charge. Huge dinosaurs, about twenty feet away, roar at the guest. The train stops in the tunnel with the dinosaurs so a fun narrative can share about this segment of the ride.

If you feel the Wild West is part of your vacation, then you need to check out the stretch of track between Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown. Here you will see Native Americans and a reflection of the west. If you're lucky, you will also get the change to watch the Mark Twain Riverboat come around the bend.

The conductors on these friendly locomotives are always found waving and keeping the kids happy. Don't overlook this wonderful mode of transportation around the park!
