Crowds wait to see a character
Character lines at Disneyland

Disneyland Resort is a wonderful place to spend your vacation. A safe place where you and your family can play on all the attractions, spend quality time together, and even stop by to meet a  few characters.

Disneyland has a wonderful set up when it comes to meeting the Characters. Not only can you meet them around the park, there are designated areas that the character are waiting for the kids to sign a few autographs and take some pictures. Making it convenient for you to take a break from the attractions and meet a few characters means you can relax and enjoy the entire day without racing from once attraction entrance to the next: Character locations Includes:

Pixie Hollow. Just to the south of Sleeping Beauty's Castle this newly built area is a great place to meet Tinker Bell and her fairy friends. This area is open daily during the summer from 9am to 5pm.

Mickey's Toontown. Technically you will find that Mickey Mouse lives in toontown and to get a picture and autograph from the Big Cheese you need to walk through his house. Also, you can visit Minnie Mouse's house next door.

Critter Country. Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too can be found in Critter Country wanting to be out in the center area taking pictures and signing books for the kids. This area has a beautiful backdrop for picture perfect results.

Fantasyland. Disney Princesses are daily found on the enchanted walkways in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle. Normally close to the wishing well, this set loves to mingle with the younger girls and take a few picture to boot. Dont be surprised if some evil stops by every so often though. Good princess gone bad are always cool for snapshots too!

Other wonderful places in the Disneyland Park to check when you are walking by include in front of the Firehouse and next to the flagpole just inside the park. Here characters rotate and even Mickey Mouse comes out from his house to enjoy the day and mingle with visitors.

For more info: The Disneyland Characters mingle in the park on a daily basis, but any cast member can tell you exactly where to find your character upon asking (they have an employee sheet that provides this information to them.) Find your way around the park and check out the locations above online at the Disneyland Resort Website.
