Part 2: It's a Small World

Before 256 Million people rode It's A Small World Ride. Before this attraction was even inked on paper, the land  was just an orchard field and a genius man had a dream. Disneyland turns 54 on July 17th and this simple little ride has been coined 'the happiest cruise that ever sailed.' No telling that time has aged this ride, but it gets better every day!

Today, the running joke is once you go on this ride, you can never get the It's a Small Ride music out of your head. Well, that can't be all that bad as guests, no matter their age enjoys this amazing ride. Full of people from all Nations, you can ride through the lands and really get an idea of the costumes and the respect we have for each other.

When you embark on your boat ride you barely notice twenty minutes passed by before you arrive back to your starting point. The time seems to pass so quickly as you are engulfed with images, smells and sounds of this original Disneyland ride. The It's a Small World attraction was recently remodeled in February to add 29 new Pixar and Disney Characters that we know and love! With over 250 props there isn't anything more excited to visually review in the comfort of your boat.

Interesting Fact: For the Opening of It's a Small World, each country represented had a child dressed in appropriate costume. The child poured water brought from the Motherland so they could share, in a ceremonial style, the idea of being a small world.

For the hot summer months, this is a ride to site back, relax and enjoy the cool air of this one-of-a-kind ride.
