At the number 9 spot on the “total box office revenue” list is Emma Watson. Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born on April 15, 1990 in Paris France. She is by far the youngest actress on this list, and look for her to make the “highest per-film average revenue” list when that article comes out. One fact that is interesting: Watson graduated The Dragon School in Oxford, England in 2003. Why is that interesting? How many people do you know went to “dragon school?”

Unless you have been living under a rock the past few years, or think movies are evil, you’ve heard of the Harry Potter films. Emma plays Hermoine Granger in this series and that fact alone puts this 19-year old in the Top 10. Other than the Harry Potter series, she has only been in two films, both from 2008: Ballet Shoes, and The Tale of Despereaux (an animated character’s voice). Even if she never appears in another film after the Harry Potter movies, her spot on this list, and others, may be safe for quite some time. The numbers below will change drastically in a few months when the next Harry Potter film comes and goes.

# 9 Emma Watson

Total box office revenue of her films: $1.46 billion

Total number of films*: 6

Average per film box office revenue: $243.7 million (incredible!)

Biggest box office smash: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone - $317.6 million

Return to Top 10 list.

* This does not count cameos, small voice work, or movies that omitted gross earnings
