Storylines don't get more original than Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

10. Thou Shalt Have Decent Camera Angles & Controls

9. Thou Shalt Not Capitalize Soley on Sex

8. Thou Shalt Make Fully Interactive Environments

7. Thou Shalt Give Us Our Kills To Do With What We Please

6. Thou Shalt Give Us Combo Moves

5. Thou Shalt Provide Original Ideas and Concepts
Enough with the space marines. Can human kind expect there to be any other future besides this? Certainly not if you're counting on the storylines of almost every action game out there. Sure, Mass Effect kept in line with this highly unoriginal concept, but the story behind it as well as the complex characters that you created and interracted with kept the Space Opera from being rote and overdone. Some really great original concepts have been created in the likes of Prey, The Darkness, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and of course the earth-moving Bioshock. Uncharted really deserves the prize for originality above all else. Bioshock's amazing plot was mind-blowing, no doubt about it, but the sheer surprise and joy that gamers experienced when first firing up what was fondly referred to as an Indiana Jones rip-off game, is unparalleled. An archaeological mystery with puzzles, gunplay, paranormal events... Uncharted: Drake's Fortune really set the bar. We'll be sitting here anxiously waiting for the next epic story. Please sirs, may we have some more?
