The chill in the air signals that the “most wonderful time of the year” is just around the corner. Already retailers seemed to have overlooked Thanksgiving in preparation for Christmas. It makes even the least likely to be lured by the commercial aspect of the holiday season anxious about making those gift lists and checking them twice.

Today, the annual Holiday Shops open in Bryant Park and Union Square Park, offering over 100 boutiques, artisans, designers, and food merchants.

For those who prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle of the department stores at this time of year, the Holiday Shops are the perfect consumer destinations to buy those last-minute Secret Santa gifts or unique and inexpensive finds from local and global artisans.

Worth a trip even if you only intend to browse, the Holiday Shops are open seven days a week through January 3.
