Rice Head Football Coach, David Bailiff, continues his tour abroad.
Bailiff is joined on the trip by new Army Head Coach, Rich Ellerson, Bobby Hauck of Montana, James Madisons' Mickey Matthews, and Rob Akey of Idaho.
This is Bailiff's fourth post card.
"I was greeted this morning by a sergeant from Katy wanted to talk about the Texas Bowl as we walked to breakfast. That was a great way to get the day started. We're keeping up an unbelievable pace while we are here. Going 30 hours straight has not been uncommon, but we all know that we're not hear on a vacation and there is no way you can ever feel tired when you are surrounded by the men and women who are serving their country over here. I know I have said it over and over, but these young men and women never stop making an amazing impression. To be around these heroes never gets old. We met with members of a squadron and learned about their mission. One thing I can tell you is if you think by watching the Military Channel that you understand about their hardware, you'd be mistaken. The hardware that all the branches of the military utilize is so much more awesome and impressive in person. No photo or video can do it justice. Another thing that you might take for granted is those packages of supplies that people send over here. It might be easy to think those are no big deal, but I can tell you that it is big news when they arrive. The movies, the toiletries, everything that folks send is a great boost when it arrives."
