Nate has covered sports in the Greater Houston area for more than 10 years with radio and television stations such as Sportsradio 610, 740 KTRH, Channels 11 and 13, and KBMT Channel 12 in Beaumont, TX. He has also worked as a TV college football color analyst with Sportswest Regional TV. He is currently the radio color analyst for the Rice football broadcasts on ESPN 97.5 The Ticket.

Griffin hosted his own radio talk show called "Fastbreak with Nate" and was recently co-host of "Sports Saturday", both on Sportsradio 610. He has also worked as TV Reporter for the Houston Texans of the NFL at houstontexans.com.

Nate played his college football at Southern Mississippi and Los Medanos College where he earned All-Conference honors as a wide receiver, while also competing in track and field. After football, he transferred to Texas Southern University and graduated Dean’s List with a B.A. in Communications. Contact Nate.
