Holiday gift idea: Digital calendar is easy to make and personal

Creative Memories, the company that reintroduced the importance of preserving memories through scrapbooking moved into the digital world a few years ago. One of their most popular digital products this fall is the 12 x 18 digital calendar (shown above).
The calendars are popular because they are easy to make. You simply download the free software from the company then drag and drop digital images (photos) into any one of three pre-designed calendar templates. Most kids have enough computer savvy to be able to create these calendars and there are instructions on their website to help you through the process.
A bonus for these calendars is that at the end of the month you can detach the top portion, where the photos are, and slide what is now a 12 x 12 album page into a pocket album or attach them to a traditional scrapbook album. Thus creating 12 pages in album. Two gifts in one - a 12 x 18 calendar and 12 album pages.
