The NBA draft is tonight and many of the players want to get drafted as high as possible.  Part of the evaluaton process involves fitness.  Players are tested on speed, agility, quickness, vertical, strength and even body height/weight.

NBA players must have both speed and endurance to sprint and jump for 60 minutes.  How does someone get in shape to play at such a high level for so long?

One popular skills coach is Idan Ravin.  He's worked with the Charlotte Bobcats and Gilbert Arenas, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony.

Ravin challenges his players to handle so that the game conditions are not as tough.  He trys to keep the players moving as much as possible, so that they can function on the basketball court without having to think abot it. He focuses on a players weaker areas.
