build self confidence
The key to build self confidence is to focus your thinking. Improving
self esteem starts with how you think about yourself and you are
truly capable of being and doing.

If you want to boost your confidence, you are not alone.

There isn't one single person in the world who can't use an occasional confidence booster shot now and again.

Not the president, not the biggest movie star, not the highest spiritual teacher. We all need a reminder now and then that we can do the seemingly tough task ahead of us.

No one can see everything all the time. No one.

Here are some simple ways to remind yourself of your inherent coolnessosity.

If you haven't heard it lately: you are an incredible, gorgeous, loved and loving, amazingly bright and beautiful individual. Yup.

How do I know? Because we all are. We're all made of the same Universal stuff and you have the spark of infinity within you.

I see it all the time in my coaching practice, great people laid low by a temporary bout of lack of self confidence.

So if you're feeling like, "who am I to be great?" the answer really is, "who are you not to be?"

Build self confidence by improving self esteem

Even though many, or even everyone is against you, if you know something to be true about yourself in your deepest heart, go with that truth and keep going with it, even when the outside appearances are running contrary to your wishes. Change is coming.

We get confused when we tell ourselves, "I'm not good enough, I'm not smart enough, I'm not good looking enough, I'm not blah blah blah blah..." THESE ARE LIES. And these lies will prevent us from being our best.

What you think and feel about yourself is of paramount importance if you want to build self confidence.

The key to improving self esteem is to consistently tell yourself how great and wonderful and truly beautiful you are and that you deserve to have all good things happen to you. It starts with this.

The next step is to act in every moment AS IF it were true (which of course it is) but even if you don't feel it that much at first; fake it until you make it. The more you do something, the better you get. So be aware of what you're doing, what your thinking and how it makes you feel.

Your thoughts will drive your feelings and you will act on your feelings. You may not see tangible results in the outside world immediately or even for a long time, you don't expect apples the day after you plant an apple seed, but know something is growing.

If it was easy everyone would do it, so have patience and persistence

Take every free moment you have and remind yourself "I am great. Yeah, I can do this. I feel good, I call on my higher powers to guide me for the good of all (including myself)" or whatever phrase has the most meaning for you.

It's an ongoing process. If you were perfect, you'd be hanging out with the Buddha or Jesus or whoever, so cut yourself some slack when you make mistakes. Learn from them.

And when you get lost, or lose your confidence, talk to someone who will help you help boost yourself back up.

Not to falsely stroke your ego, but to remind you of the truth that you are an amazingly beautiful person with unfathomable potential who deserves love, health and happiness.

You are who you say you are and who you act like you are everyday.
