O.F.F. Duty Ale Tapping

Rock Bottom Brewery and the Orland Fire Foundation present a charity evening in aid of Cystic Fibrosis. The evening kicks off with the tapping of O.F.F. Duty Ale at 6:00 p.m. This American style red ale has a citrus hop aroma and flavor with a balance of caramel malt and is dry hopped for additional aroma. We are donating 25 cents for every pint of O.F.F. Duty Ale sold until November 12th.

During the evening, Rock Bottom will be selling specially made logo pint glasses filled with O.F.F. Duty ale for $5 with all proceeds going to the charity. There will be a silent auction and a split-the-pot raffle in aid of the Foundation as well. The Band of Brothers Pipe band will be performing so this is sure to be a fun packed evening to raise some cheer for a very worthwhile cause.

A curated exhibition of artwork, performance pieces, homebrew, etc. on the subject of beer in our history and culture. Exhibitors are Chelsea Culp, Jacov C, Hammes, Tom Marioni, Pavel Medvedev, and Justin B. Williams.

Chicago artist and homebrewer Joe Grimm will present a piece entitled "Emergent Property: Lemon" (Organic Wild Ambiguous Sour Feeling), in an edition of 50 bottles with hand-drawn caps. Another Chicago "fermentationist," Dennis Hodges, will offer "Flower Plower," an American IPA designed to showcase the flavors and aromas of an individual hop variety (Simcoe), and "Saint Ordinary," a session-strength Standard Bitter in the English tradition.
