I have on several occasions tried to get proponents and opponents of AGW (anthropogenic global warming) to agree on a limited course of action to address environmental issues including global warming.
But I'm a bit hot-headed at times, and every time I try to be a conciliator, Joe Romm lets off another blast of hot air and I get distracted.
So either later today or tomorrow I'm going to put a survey up on this site to try and see if we can get consensus on even one action to help the environment.
I have my own list of things we can do, ranging from Bjorn Lomborg's old idea about painting roofs white to Andrew Revkin's more recent column about capturing methane emissions--and a lot in between.
But I will need more ideas, and so I turn to you. Can you propose specific actions that we can do to improve the environment that are worthy of consideration? I'll add them into the survey and we'll get started.
I expect a little bit of fun and mutual ribbing, but this is a serious request, so I hope you bring some serious ideas to the table.
Thanks
