When last I left you, I was a little less than 900 points away from my goal of a 20,000 gamerscore.  After a disappointing glitch, I was questioning just how long it would take to get me there.  Well, let me update you on what has happened since then.

Still disappointed in NCAA Football 07, I pulled out an old classic, Call of Duty 3 and racked up 55 points on 3 achievements before I remembered that I can't stand that game.  Finally, I caved in and fired up NCAA again and in one game, got 28 achievements, and have since gotten a few more on that game.  I also got a couple of achievements playing The Orange Box, which is always fun to fire up now and then.

So, all of this activity leaves me right on 20,000's doorstep.  My new gamerscore is 19,713!  Just 287 points separate me from glory.  As all good achievement whores do, I have a plan.  On its way to my possession is Gears of War 2.  That oughta finish it off, unless I come up with something craftier first.  In the mean time, I'll be using every game in my arsenal to sneak up on 20,000.  The time is nearly upon us!
