My quest to a gamerscore of 20,000 continues.  Over the weekend, I was at a friend's house when I started discussing my project.  He responded by lending me a number of games I haven't played before.  The most exciting of which was NCAA Football 07.  Now, as we all know, sports games have pretty much the easiest achievements of all so you could understand my excitement.

I rushed home and started playing.  I pitted my beloved Florida State Seminoles against San Diego State.  However, after a 120-0 trouncing, I acquired no achievements.  Why?  Well, I'm not sure.  None of the achievements specify difficulty or game mode so I am really at a loss for an explanation other than perhaps a glitch of some kind.  I did achieve a new personal record of foul words I can say in a minute.  I even impressed myself on that one.

The night was not a loss, however.  Once I regained my composure, I went and got all 3 achievements for the mini games at 40 points a piece.  So, for those keeping a tally at home, that is an addition of 120 points for a new gamerscore of 19,163!  For now, the confetti will have to stay put away and the band is on hold, but I'm coming for you, 20,000.  Watch yourself!
