This is a good time, during National Roller Coaster Week, to take a look at Florida’s best coasters. Of course, with all the awesome theme parks in Florida, it only stands to reason that Florida would have some of the best coasters in the country. So if you’re planning a Florida vacation and love, love, love coasters, be sure to check these out!

Space Mountain, Walt Disney World, Orlando (Indoor coaster in the dark)

The Simpsons Ride, Universal Studios Florida, Orlando (simulator coaster ride – wild)

Gwazi, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay (double wooden coaster)

Revenge of the Mummy, Universal Studios Florida, Orlando (indoor dark ride coaster)

Dueling Dragons, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Orlando (only dueling inverted roller coaster in the world)

Scorpion – Busch Gardens (steel looping roller coaster)

Expedition Everest – Disney Animal Kingdom (forward and backward coaster)

Rock n’ Roller Coaster – Disney Hollywood Studios (Aerosmith music and high speed coaster)
Kraken – SeaWorld (coaster dives underground 3 times)

Opening in July at Universal Studios Orlando is the "world's most high-tech" coaster - Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. We'll have to wait and see if it tops the Manta. Read more about it and see videos here.
