Disney Imagineer John Cutry programs an Audio-Animatronics
figure of President Barack Obama
in preparation for the
July 4, 2009 re-launch of the Hall of Presidents attraction
at Walt Disney World.

This July 4th people will be celebrating all across our nation.  But one of the biggest attractions will be in Orlando, Florida when Barack Obama joins his distinguished predecessors in Disney's Hall of Presidents.  The attraction in the Magic Kingdom Park features Audio-Animatronics figures of all the United States Presidents.

The exhibit will open with the new film, narrated by Morgan Freeman. Abraham Lincoln will rise and speak to the audience, as it always has, but now he will deliver the Gettysburg Address in its entirety.

“And this is the first time George Washington will have a speaking role,” said Kathy Rogers, a senior show producer for Walt Disney Imagineering.

But the high point will be with figure of President Barack Obama, who will yet again be heard taking the oath of office.

Mr. Obama recorded this one on March 4 in the White House Map Room — the same room where he retook the oath after a minor flub on Inauguration Day — to accommodate the Disney World theater’s new sound system.

At the same time Mr. Obama recorded a short speech to be delivered by his figure, too.  This July 4, 2009 will be a brty special one with the re-opening of the Hall of Presidents and its new additions.
