The Disney Princess line now caters to adults as well as children. New Disney Princess engagement rings feature multi-carat diamond designs mounted on platinum: Just what a blushing bride needs to complement her Princess Tiana wedding dress.
The new "Kirstie Kelly for Disney by Mouawad" line of engagement rings and wedding bands was introduced at New York's Intercontinental Barclay Hotel Tuesday during Bridal Fashion Week, according to National Jeweler.
Kelly has also designed several Disney Princess bridal gowns--including the new Princess Tiana wedding dress--as part of the "Kirstie Kelly for Disney Fairytale Weddings" line. The new Disney Princess jewelry line includes six matching engagement ring and wedding band sets inspired by Snow White, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Jasmine from Aladdin, Cinderella, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.
The Belle ring (pictured) includes a one-carat rose-cut diamond (accentuated by additional diamonds), which symbolizes the Beast's fragile rose from the story and film. The matching wedding band is dripping with diamonds.
Each ring retails for $1,200 to $6,000, based upon the number of additional diamonds added to the standard ring. The Disney Princess rings will be available at jewelers across the nation soon. They are also available on the Mouawad Web site.
