Professionals in the City bring steamy Latin beats to DC a night of Salsa and Cha-Cha dancing at The Salsa Room.

Join the group of fellow professionals as you have fun learning new dance moves. Hot Salsa band Tremenda and house DJ provide the music Join in this exciting evening of salsa lessons, a live band and lots of professionals to mix and mingle with! It's no secret that salsa is one of the hottest dances around. Beginning and intermediate dancers are welcome at this event, and you don't need to bring a partner.
The event's expert dance instructor will guide you step by step as you dance to the energetic rhythm of Latin beats, which are perfect for those pulse-stopping dips and turns! Whether you're a novice or have a few salsa moves under your belt, you'll definitely have a fun time! After the lessons, practice your new dance steps to the beats of an in-house DJ and mix and mingle with other professionals in the area. Then step back and be entertained by the exciting dance-off where the finest salsa dancers will win prizes.
The exciting salsa band Tremenda is a crowd favorite known for driving crowds into salsa frenzy. They will be performing live into the wee hours of the morning so you can salsa your way into oblivion! The Salsa Room (formerly known as Cecilia's Club and Lounge) has been recently renovated with beautiful new hardwood floors. There's plenty of room to move, an expansive bar and a large stage to accommodate large bands. The Salsa Room has it all, including great food (they have a new Caribbean chef), and there will be special discounts on food and drinks until 9:00pm. If you've never salsa danced at this club, you've been missing out!
