
We reported last week on United Airlines’ holiday sale (which ends Thursday!). There are plenty of other sales going on now, too. If you’ve waited to buy your airline tickets for the holiday season, wait no longer. After Thanksgiving, fares are expected to rise sharply.
1. United Airlines

2. American Airlines
Details: Fares start at $56 each way, based on round-trip purchase. Like the United sale, certain days are priced lower than others. The lowest fares to and from Chicago include Cleveland ($63), Omaha ($64) and Nashville ($69). Read more details here.
Rules: 14-day advance purchase required; 3-day minimum stay required for some destinations.
Purchase by: American Airlines hasn’t released the exact end date of the sale, saying only that it ends soon.
3. Delta Airlines
Details: Fares start at $59 each way, based on round-trip purchase. Sample super-off peak fares to and from Chicago include Minneapolis/St Paul ($72), Detroit ($73) and New York City ($77). Read more details here.

4. Continental Airlines
