If you haven’t heard already, holiday airfares are projected to rise sharply after Thanksgiving. Why? Airlines learned their lesson from last year’s holiday season and throngs of empty seats: they simply aren’t offering as many flights this year. Less seats to sell means that the seats that are available become more valuable after each passing day.
So sales like the holiday fare sale by United Airlines may be among the last good deals of the year. Read on for details and sample fares to and from Chicago.
