Tesla Motors has opened its European flagship store in London's Knightsbridge. Following the growing success of the company's Roadster (a 100% electric exotic car based on the frame of the British Lotus Elise), it's no wonder their first big reach out into the International auto marketplace is English target audience based. It's also no wonder why the California based American based corporation is rocking the Hybrid exotic world. Video clips show the fun, regardless of whether or not drivers can hear the electric car's ultra quiet engine.
TESLA ROADSTER
The Tesla Roadster is an intense little all-electric car that does 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds. GQ Magazine reports, "If you're not familiar with the Lotus Elise-based Roadster, described by a slack-jawed Jeremy Clarkson [of the BBC car review show TOP GEAR] as "biblically quick", it can do 240 miles on one charge, is six times more efficient than your common-or-garden sports car and is greener even than the Toyota Prius (although not as green as Prius owners will be when they clap eyes on one)."
Top speed is reportedly 125 MPH, a respectable number that will certainly allow the electric car to take on any respectable hybrid, with it's small size often giving a cornering advantage to play racing drivers.
European deliveries of the Tesla eco-friendly smart model will start in the summer of 2009. The company reports that right-hand drive models will be produced in 2010 and prices start at roughly 94,000 Euros for the hot green ticket and easy to park auto products. Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, was at the showroom and talking to guests and the press, saying Europe, “had [has] the potential to become a huge market for Tesla, bigger even than the U.S.”.
Tesla motors recently sold it's 500th roadster in the United States.

TESLA MOTORS CRUSING LONDON
The Tesla Motor car company is surely pleased to inform potential London buyers that the cars from the automaker will be exempt from having to pay the over-crowed city's traffic congestion charge. For United States citizens unfamiliar with the congestion tax, think of it like having to stop and pay the equivalent of a day trip to Disney World here in North America at a toll stop before you enter the city on your way to work.
Less than popular with Londoners who regularly commute by car and are forced to pay the charge, the fee/penalty/admission/tax does help to decrease private vehicle traffic in the metro area, thereby limiting auto emissions that not only make breathing air quality less than desirable, but also erodes historical features of the ancient city's architecture. [Depending on who you are will dictate which pollution harmful effect you'll cry foul about first.]
Located in Cheval Place in Kensington, which is round the corner from Harrods and with easy access to Heathrow airport (depending on the time of day and the traffic!), the new Tesla Showroom will be supplemented by Sales & Service Centers in Monaco, Munich and Zurich, as reported by CarsUK.net.

TESLA MOTORS TO BRING CONTEMPORARY ELECTRIC CARS TO INTERNATIONAL MARKET
The car company will also be producing a seven passenger automobile in the coming year, known presently as the Model S. However, establishing a dealership staff and service platform and getting international communications in place between the auto maker and dealership crew in place is a smart move: first things, first.
Currently, Tesla Motors is hiring all over North America, and following the announcement to open seven new dealerships in major metropolitan areas worldwide, the auto maker is sure to be keeping their eyes open for effective sales, marketing, and management team players with connections in the exotic auto and green technology movement worldwide.
